aaah, havent been able to post over the last couple of days, as i've been going out too... BEACHES!!!! WOOOOT
on monday, went to south beach, and then freo after for dinner! we went to zapatas, for the half price nachos and tacos :D. at the beach we just went swimming and made a giant lagoon/pool thing in the sand. didn't swim too much because there was lots of seaweed, and was kinda cold. and then yeah, after beach, went for dinner. marissa and lennise joined us for dinner, since it was their last day in perth, before flying back to m'sia. annnd after dinner we just went to timezone and played there for a while; ddr, daytona, guitar hero, air hockey, and photos!!
then jacky was staying at mine, and then nads was getting picked up from mine, so marissa kindly dropped us three home :D we just played table tennis, and then once nad's left, we watched ratatouille :D went to sleep at 12:00 since we had to wake up early next morning. soo early! never go to sleep that early in holidays, let alone when someone else is over.
annnd then tuesday morning, woke up at 6:45 as we had to get ready for the beach, had to catch the early bus. after rushing around, we eventually made it to the bus stop and then onto the train. we were going up to mullaloo beach in the northern suburbs, since linh organised it, and it was near her house. was actually a really really nice beach!! linh brought lots of food as well so didnt have to worry about food, and since there were no cafe's around there, i guess its a good thing! basically, we just went swimming, and built sand castles/lagoons :D the waves were pretty big, so got to body surf which was good fun. after the beach, just went to linh's place, and watched 'the hangover' which was quite gd! i think after watching too many hindi movies, hollywood movies seem almost superficial and superfluous, just that they lack the superduper convoluted storyline present in hindi movies, but its a good thing i think, because all movies become light/feel-good watching if that makes sense (:
anyways, left linh's house around 4:45, came home, showered and then watched step up two (: lennise had my dvd for about 1 year now, been asking for it for AGES, and then she finally gave it back on monday so i got to watch it again last night :D
annnd on a completely random unrelated note, i think over the last couple of days, ive realised that the first impressions of ppl that you have isn't always reflective of their true character;i know this sounds trivial, but it makes sense in my head :D
just found that some ppl turned out being quite different to what they came across as when i first met them; some for the better, and some, unfortunately, for the worst. anyways before i keep rambling on about this philosophical stuff, i shall close my post here.
