woo. after a LONG time searching the net for layouts, and working with html codes, we finnnally have a new layout. yaay. i like the whole coffee theme-and its very minimalistic which is nice.
otherwise, today was pretty good actually.
was up late last night so slept in till about ten-ish this morn. then ate BLUEBERRY MUFFINS for breakfast. yumo! then i actually managed to study for FOUR HOURS! yaaay. ecept i was hoping to get about eight hours done..but still, im proud of my four haha. i think tmr i will be able to knock off about eight hours 'cause im not in holiday mood anymore. and the fact that my exam is in less then ten days is motivation in itself :D
ooh and i also played more gta:chinatown wars. its soo fun. i wont rant about it nows since i did in my last post, but again i wil stress, its pure brilliancy!
this arvo i had a piano-playing marathon..it was another form of procrasticnation which detered me from studying. hahaha. well, basically i went through my files of music and sight-read whatever was cool...i must've spent about two and a half to three hours at the piano...sad i know.. BUT it was a 'productive' way to procrastinate.. instd of say sitting on msn for a couple of hours haha.
apart form the above..nothing especially cool happened today and im so tired right nows i cant be bothered to go into a rant about how cool something is. so i will go nows procrastinate on msn. tehehe.

autumness, nerding and gta!
FINALLY! it rained today. autumn is finnnalllyy here :) hopefully...
well considering it has been 30C+ for the last couple of days, today's rainy weather was greatly appreciated.
i liikkee winter. i have a theory-its easier to warm up than to cool down. which is why i like winter :)
the only good thing about summer in my opinion is the beaching and the social outings and such. but weather wise i prefer cold weather any day. my fav weather is when its freezing cold BUT the sun is shining away. so its actually nice to sit in the sun; unlike in summer where you can feel it burning away at your skin hahaha.
my plan to be a nerd on my study break has failed epically so far.... today went to lunch at my friends house :) then after eating wayy too much ended up playing cards and muckin around... didnt get home till about 430. and then had to do vacuuming and steam mopping and piano prac
and now im sitting here procrastinating instd of studying hahaha. well, it technically is still easter... so i have an excuse :D
but tmr i will be a good boy and study xD...hopefully...unless i get called to some outing haha. but then again, i have plenty of distracitons at home which would deter me from studying even if i was stuck at home.
oooh. im playing gta:chinatown wars right now. i still havent got over the fact that there is an MA15+ game on Nintendo DS> its amazing. and extremely cool imo.
well, basically the game is similar to all the other gta ones... lotsa killing ppls and hijacking sweet cars :)
oh they also have drug trading which is a well good way to make money.. fast.
the game itself is in a sorta hand-drawn cartoony-type city, but the graphics are quite good. and the attention to detail is amazing. seriously, every little thing in the whole city has a sound associated to it. its extremely lifelike... almost like gtaIV. just minus the intensive graphics.. i mean after all. it is just a nintendo DS (:
annd the city itself is based on new york.. so the architecture and monuments are so cool. esp the unisphere. cept it was soo sad when i had to blow it up to kill someone in a missions :( hopefully it will respawn and be nice again :)
but all in all its a BRILLIANT game. i think its probly my fav DS game so far... it knocked FF:revenant wings from the top spot haha.

woo. we have pics!
my house from the sims :) i haven't finished the inside yet so didn't take any screens of the interior...
annnd i went to cottesloe beach just now so decided to post a pic from there as well:
my lens was sorta dirty and i didn't configure the settings properly so the pics a bit blurry. but still...i DID take the pic on my handphone haha.

cleaning rooms and playing the sims
hmm. didn't get to post yesterday.
i was working then i came home and watched law and order: special victims unit(which is the coolest show on the planet haha- actually, the main law and order is the best, but SVU is also quite good.(the cast in the original is a lot better imo)) and then i ate and played the piano and played the Sims 2.
i reallllyy like the sims 2.
cant wait till the next version comes out. the screens look greeaatt.
i think the best thing about it is the house building bit, the plethora of options is aammmazzziinggg. you can create so many different styles of houses. its just plain fun.
also its a great timewaster...great for procrastinating lol.
considering i have a HBio test and Chem exam next week, i really shouldn't be playing comp games haha..but then everyone needs to 'take a break' don't we...but when the break lasts longer then the actually study time its a tad sad haha. well, im on study break nows so its all ok i guess.. cause during the uni term i wouldn't have time to play, but cause its break, i get the luxury of being able to space out the study time..which is really good!!
ooh. i should attach a pic of my house im currently playing in the sims! its rather cool.
and quite large i must admit as well.
ill post pics later :) cbb opening the sims right now
this morning i cleaned my room. it was rather epic actually. i also hung up all these certificates and pictures and stuff which has been sitting on my floor for about a yr. haha.
but my room is now CLEAN.
im also going to change my feature wall colour :)
and hopefully get some new furniture...will have to annoy the parentals by constantly asking them till that happens (:

chemistry, wants and movies
happy easter!!
my easter wasnt exactly happy lol.
i did chemistry. EIGHT hours of it.
it was, well, not exactly riveting. hahaha.
i have a mid-sem exam coming up in two weeks so i'm gonna be doing masses of chem this study break.
oh the joy.
oh// today i found something new i want.
Nintendo DSi. it looks so cool.
buut. its not flashcart compatible (yet) so gonna wait before they are released, then ill go get one :P
other items on my list are:
-HP netbook
-Nintendo Wii
-grand piano... doubt ill be getting this soon
-MBBS xD hahaha.
-i think an apartment would be nice as well.. like one of them inner city ones. but again. doubt ill get this anytime in the near future. ah well. i can keep dreaming :)
yesterday i watched a hindi movie-rang de basanti. which in the context of the movie means the colour of courage i think. well it seems to fit. literally it means the colour of spring. but i made the connection that spring=awakening=courage maybe??

well its about a group of uni students who are inspired by the indian freedom fighters and decide to take a stand against the government's attitude towards the upkeep of the army planes. it was actually quite inspiring and the music was by AR Rahman who is always composing brilliant stuff. i reckon music is a REALLY important part of a movie. in my opinion, the music is as important as the storylines' subject matter.. but thats probly just cause im a muso whose a tad (just a tad) obsessed xD
i attached a youtube clip from the movie.
the song is about how the mum and son(who died whilst flying a dodgyily maintained plane in the army) are coming to terms with the fact they arent together on earth anymore.
its rather touching
