esters!

you might be wondering why on earth i would name a post on this wonderful organic molecule. well, in chem lab yesterday we synthesized esters!! we made banana scented ones so the whole lab smelt like banana lollies haha. actually when i was taking the cotton plug out of my filter, i forgot to use gloves and for the whole of last night (even after washing with soap multiple times) my fingers smelt like banana lollies :):)
there is only a little bit of the smell left today, but yeeaaah. we also had to synthesize aspirin, but we aren't gonna be working with it till next week. but it wasnt very pure so wouldn't exactly wanna use it for medical purposes hahaha.

on thursday, i counted how many muscles i had to memorise for one of my uni units. 109. yep, ONE HUNDRED AND NINE. and thats just muscles... so for the next three weeks im gonna be memorising the 109 muscles-thier latin names, insertion, origin, and the action(s) which each of them do. and then i also gotta learn all the features of about 50-ish bones. so its gonna be a joyous three weeks for me :D LOL
cept its still quite interesting so its all good.

i love the weekend, its so nice and free, no plans, no lectures to attend to...i can actually procrastinate and still manage to get all my stuff done...its ggreeaatt. haha two seconds ago i was just saying how i gotta memorise a whole heap of stuff and now im like eehhh, procrastination ftw! hahaha. ah wells.

hmm i think that is all for nows. wont write too much, gonna go clean up my room. cleaning=productive procrastination :)
