isnt it annoying when you come prepared for something, only to find out that its cancelled? well, this morn i took all my baddy gear to uni, only to find out that i couldn't book the court cause there was this sch workshop thingy which was being held on the courts. which sucked. big time. considering i only have lecture today, its sorta like i go to play baddy, not for my lecture; and then it was cancelled today so yeah :( aah well, i will just have to wait till next week before we can play again haha.
well, a good thing that arose from the badminton cancellation was i managed to get bulk revision done for human bio, which is a good thing i guess.
oooh// i started playing this ds game called sonic rush adventure. its actually pretty good, its based on the old type sonic games...2d side-winding screen....so its basically very nostaligic playing it. and the music is alright as well, except for the title song which is incredibly annoying and just plain. the good thing about this game is that the boss levels are in 3d, which is ltos of fun as well...i think boss levels are more fun in 3d period. but the side winding stages are fun fun fun.
okies that is all for nows, going to go watch a movie hahaha.

essays and RSI
dammn didn't get time to post yesterday, been so busy this weekend, but here i am now, blogging away :)
yesterday, as mentioned above was busy. i was up late on sat night so didn't wake up till about 930-ish. i was gonna be going out at 1130 so i had two hours to eat, shower, and wash dad's car. twas rather hectic, but i managed to finish everything (not sure how) and was ready by 1130! anyways, at 1130 went to a family friends house for lunch which was nice. then after played scrabble hahaha. twas actually quite fun ahahah. and then by the time i got home it was about six-ish, then played piano for a bit, then ate a bit for dinner-wasnt too hungry cause i ate heaps at lunch. then i watched the SYTYCD final; i wanted ben to win, but then he ended up coming fourth, so then i decided ill go for charle, and then talia won. but they all deserved it so it was good in the end. in my opinion, they are all so talented they will do brilliantly in a dance career if they pursue it... and then i watched rove. twas pretty cool cause it was right next door to sytycd, so rove literally walked from the final into the next room thingy where the rove layout was set up.
then today was busy as well, woke up around 7ish and then ate breakfast. then i steam mopped the house. then i worked on my essay. its on anti-hCG just incase you were wondering. and yeah, basically did my essay for the whole day till about 4-ish. then i washed mum's car. and then played piano after that. and then i had to do my references for my essay. so annoying. like having to follow the examples so closely,, making sure the comma and fullstops are in the correct positions haha.
and then i ate dinner, and after was watching top gear on tv when i realised my right hand wrist is really hurting. i showed mum and she was like its probly tendonitis, probly due to RSI. hope not. well, if it is its induced by typing, and currently its not hurting so hopefully its nothing major, otherwise im screwed BIG TIME.
ooooh. my sis brought KRISPY KREMES back for me from melb:)
so i will leave you nows and go eat some hahaa

wooot
WOW haven't blogged for two days! this is of course due to the masses of chem study i had been doing over the last couple of days...on the night before my chem thurs-fri, i only got 3 hours of sleep hahaha.
well, i went to sleep late, then woke up like in the early morning hours to do some quick final revision (you know, to utilise the short-term memory haha) and also to mark all the prac questions i had done before. but now the chem exam is OVER! and i can blog without feeling guilty hahaha. the chem exam went alright i guess; wasn't easy, but wasnt overly difficult either, cant complain. =D ooh funny thing happened, last year in TEEchem, when we were doing organics and came across aldehyde's, my friend made up and aldehyde song-lame i know-but still its CHEM, we need to make up random things to keep sane lol. well, anyways, in yesterdays' exam, which was also organics, the word aldehyde came up. then for the remainder of the exam (which was about and hour) i had the aldehyde song revolving around my head :S it was terrible hahaha
anways, im glad chem is over! and also glad it wasnt extremely difficult.. last years average was 35% but i think this years will be around 50-ish. well. hoepfully. otherwise we will all have to re-sit it like they did last yr.
hmm, i got an essay due on tuesday for anhb..we have to choose a vaccine thingo (they gave us options) and then have to write an essay about how it works, current stage of development and the advantages/disadvantages/ethics about it. how riveting (no sarcasm there, no really) haha. well, its only 800 words so nice and quick and easy. annd only ONE MONTH (and a bit) till final exams for the sem! so i have heeaappss of study to do between now and then. well, that is all for nows. must get going and write my essay hahaha.

busy! oh, and arshavin as well!!
dammnn, was SO busy yesterday that i didn't even get time to write a post! from the time i got home till about midnight i was doing bulk chem study! another thing which im trying to do today hahaha. well, its gonna be another late night today that's for sure!apart from the masses of chem study things are good! im currently counting down the hours to my chem exam lol.im so glad i dont have to sit it tmr like some of my friends haha, i get till friday so i will be doing masses of chem study tmr as well! apart from all the chem study, not much else is happening. the general consensus at uni is ' we're screwed' (in reference to the chem exam) so todays lecture was basically everyone stressing out over the problems which the lecturer was going through which basically everyone didnt know how to do; but thankfully i stil have time so i can hopefully do well, but apart from that , yes, im screwed. lol.
OOOH> arshavin is amazing. for the uninitiated he is a football player for the best team in epl!! arsenal!!!
hahaha.
well. he scored FOUR goals in the recent match against liverpool. it was amazing! like really amazing! especially goal number three. it was just like how on earth did that go in. ah wells. it did!! the final score was 4-4, but still , the fact that arshavin scored the four goals for arsenal is pretty cool.
cause the youtube box thingo wont fit into my supremely cool layout, i posted a link to the vid here its in russian i think, lol, but ah wells, it has the four goals! well, i could get the box to fit in here, but it would be tiny,and in the vid its quite hard to see anyways so the link is just a lot easier. (for me and you hehehe)

monday 20th april
i couldn't think of an imaginative interesting and highly riveting title for this post, so i decided to name it after today's date.. cant go wrong with that =] hahaha.
well, today was basically uneventful..
first day back to uni from after the study break..found out everyone else was as slack i was which was nice to know hahaha. it was nice to meet up with lots of friends and stuff. since i haven't seen them for a whole of ONE WEEK :O
getting back into the lecture/work routine actually wasn't too bad, i guess cause the break was only one week...
i epically screwed up my anhb test today though... like it was REALLY bad. but oh well, it was only 4% thankfully. so i can hopefully make up for it in the next couple of tests :)
four days till my chem exam.. three days of study left.tues, wed and thurs,, well i still have tonight, so its more like 4 days of study left... so hopefully will be prepped by the time fri comes along. the lecturer said she was goign to do prac Q during wed's lecture so that should be good!
ooh. i had a huge music dl'ing sesh yesterday night, and dled all these new songs and such. i was listening to the american top 40 so was 'exposed' to the music over there which was good. i think the song sugar by FloRida is gonan be big, cause he has used the tune from the 'im blue dabadee' song, which is so incredibly catchy, but yeaah its a really good song!
aand that is all for now. im uber tired, and still gotta do some chem study so will go nows (:

two days posting
dammn, didnt get to post yesterday. was busy studying at my usual night time blogging time..
so today i will have to post for today and tm!
SATURDAY
today was basically uneventfull. i tried to study for basically the whole day. but i was on msn and surfin the net so wasnt exactly productive haha. oooh dad came back from up north today (he was doing a clinic thingo), but he didnt get me a fossil :( (apparently, according to my arcy tutorial person, there are lots of fossils and stone tools in the kimberly area, so i was hoping dad could find me smthign cool..well wasnt really expecting ... but still!) annd im gonna be getting a bang&olufsen sound system soon :):) cause dad saw an advert thingo in the plane magazine, and was inspired so yeah!! hopefully it wont be too long before we get it-must experience the amazing sound quality asap hahaha. it is this sound system in the advert, but we still gotta look into it. well i like this one so hopefully can persuade dad to buy this one. aahh wells. apart from that excitement,, nothing much happened...just study and such...

today was gd! managed to study a bit in the morn, and then went to the temple in the evening..had lots to eat there ahaha. lots beign too much.. temple food is soo yumm! came back from there about half an hour ago, and was just working on the net just now. and now im blogging! hoping to watch a movie of some sorts tonight...not sure yet; might just sit on the comp, but i wanna enjoy my last day of mid-sem break ahhaha. well, i got a test tmr in Hbio. but im almost ready for that i guess...but i still got time to study for that later tnite :)
annndd FIVE days till my chem exam ... thankfully i got heaps of time to study still so should be well prepared by the time friday comes around! im so not looking forward to uni starting again tmr.. having to get back into routine and stuff, but i am looking forward to meeting everyone and stuff.
well i dont really have much else to write here... so i will be off nows :)

study competitions and cooking
today i studied. heaps. my friend and i decided yesterday that we would compete to see who could study the most today. basically, during the uni break, both of us have been really slack, so we decided if we compete, then maybe it will motivate us :D well, so far i've done six hours. and im aiming to get about eight hours done today so im all good! not sure what he is on. before i go on, a quick shout out to jackythechan who has forced me to study so that i can hopefully beat him :P well, now i have stereochemistry floating around my head and i wont be surprised if i get a chirality-induced-nightmare tonight! hahaha. its not that bad i guess, but still..its pretty bad haha. and my exam is officially in ONE WEEK> well, by this time i will be rejoicing cause it will be ovverrr. *hooray* im excited at the thought already haha. :D
apart from my six hours ( so far,im still going) of study, nothing much eventful happened. wait no. something eventful DID happen. i made dinner! i just made pasta! well i didn't technically make the pasta.. cause i used the ones which come in the packet, BUT I made my own sauce from fresh tomatoes, and basil from the garden. it actually wasn't too bad.. and the only thing that mum complained about was that the pasta wasn't perfectly al dente but i can blame that on the pasta ppls cause i followed the instructions on the side of the pack.. they said boil for seven mins.. i boiled for seven mins.. ahh well. at least my sauce was yummy so that's a good thing i guess. oh, if you read about my noodle incident, you'll be pleased to know today my serving sizes were good, and we didn't have ANY leftovers.
well i must go nows and get back to studying. make sure i can beat my friend. OOH/ i took a screen of that house i made yesterday in the sims 2:
