incase you haven't noticed, i have a new pic for the blog! i found it on the net somewhere, and i thought it looked nice. i edited it in photoshop, just to add the border effect on it.

today has been quite good, had ppl over for afternoon tea which was fun. and then was just watching a movie just now.
was cleaning my room this morning, and found this piece of literature which was really cool:

so this is what it is. talking about language; talking about communication. not the same thing. it's about the way a child can recognise and produce phenomes that don't occur in its native language. it's about inspiration; not the idea but the moment before the idea when it's total; when it blossoms in your mind and connects to everything; before the coherent thought that gives it shape; that locks it in and cuts it off from the universal. when you can articulate it, it becomes smaller. it's about thoughts and experiences that we don't have a word for.

i have a feeling i posted this somewhere previously, not sure if its on this, or somewhere else, just because i remember typing this out before...

oo today i was served milk that was expired YESTERDAY with my breakfast. in other news, mum's a serious contender for the 'mother of the year award' LOL.

today was pretty good! had work today, and then yeah came home and did pianos and ate dinner and playing the sims 2 now :D not tooo much cool has happened. exceppptt...

umm in other news, i started playing a new Nintendo DS game, its called 'rhythm heaven.' its actually really really fun. basically, its made up of all these different mini-games, in which you have to do a special stroke or combination of strokes with the stylus, in time with the beat or rhythm of the music being played.its actually surprisingly challenging, which is nice to see. and the graphics are pretty funny also,and most importantly, the tunes are really catchy which is good if you have to repeat a stage a couple of times before you pass it. i thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is reading this!! its an awesome awesome game.
hmm talking about awesome games, i still needa finish kingdom hearts.. ill get round to it sooner or later i suppose hahaha.

uhh what else.. ohh i watched this hindi movie last night, called Kabhi Alvidaa Naa Kehna, with the translation being 'Never Say Goodbye.' its about two married couples, where the husband from one couple has an affair with the wife in the other couple. it was an alright movie i suppose, just taught really bad morals. in the end, the 'affair-couples' ended up being together, which i thought was just absurb. ah wells. lol in the movie, it said never say goodbye, as it demolishes the chance of meeting again. which i think is slightly true, and rather cool if you think about it. in the context of the movie, the two cheaters shoulda said goodbye and left it at that, but pfft, then there'd be no movie hahaha.

almost one week!

aaah havent been able to post for nearly ONE WEEK!!!

between last post and now, lots has happened. for starters, i finished my last exam on tuesday!! it was kinda difficult, but hopefully it will be okay. and then i went to the beach after and then went out for dinner in subiaco.
umm wed didnt do too much, and then thursday (yday) went to fremantle for lunch. was planning to go to little creatures, but then the ppls there were like its only for 18+ randomly, so we had to leave :(
anyhow, ended up going for italian which was gd!
umm then today havent really been upto much,just relaxing i suppose.
okay i think thats all now, i needa go prac piano so i cant post more now..

two days!

yupp, that's right, TWO days left till im freeeeee.
well actually im already pretty free cause its just archaeology, but still :)

didn't really do too much today..well nothing interesting hahaha.
woke up late cause i was feeling sick :( i ended up going to sleep around 1am this morning, and then woke up at 6 because i had a tummy ache. and then went back to sleep and woke up at around 10. and then i had a headache. but luckily it dissipated by the time i finished off my breakfast and everything. so yeah, managed to waste the whole morning haha. annd then i did vacuuming and steam-mopping :D
had lunch late-ish also, around 2? and then finally got down to some studdddy.
well, so far all ive been doing is going through the lect slides and copy+paste-ing all the important stuff to a word doco. then ill just print it off and do some bulk memorising hahaha.

ummm omg michael buble has a new song :D its called 'haven't met you yet' and its from his new album. its sooo nice hahaha. its more mainstream as opposed to classic jazz, but still pretty good. aand the vid clip is pretty funny also. these are the lyrics:

damn havent been able to post over the last few days.
buuut now im here happily posting away haha.
had two more theory exams, human bio on thursday, and then molecular bio of the cell this morning. hbio was alright i think, mcq was a bit tricky, but the short answers were alright so i guess it makes up for it. and then todays paper was alright as well. i had to completely guess a few because i didnt have a clue, but out of the ones i wasnt completely sure about, i was luckily able to make educated guesses about them :D
anyhow, one paper left this tuesday! archaeology. i havent started studying for it yet :P gonna start after i finish this post and eventually get off from fb and msn :)

apart from study, nothing much interesting has been happening which is sorta boring. but yeah three more days then im freeeee.

oo i was procrastinating after my exam on thurs, and found this comic on the net. it made me smile, so i thought id post it here when i get a chance.

its officially over.

it was actually surprisingly pretty good.. there were only a couple of questions in the paper which i didn't have a clue about.. so i just used my creative license and made something up :P but all in all i think it went alright.

umm now got hbio on thurs, and then mbc on sat and archy on tues. then freedooom
so..one week from now :D

umm i think thats all for now.. needa study lol.
and omfg i need to practice piano so much. got lesson tmr and havent practiced much all week since ive been studying for chem.
